The present research was conducted with the aim of predicting behavioral problems and mental health of students based on the communication style of teachers. The research method was causal-comparative. The statistical population included male teachers and students of the second year of high school in Qom in the academic year of 1401-402. The sampling method was a multi-stage cluster, and the sample size of the research was estimated to be 30 male professors and 250 students. The data collection tool included MHQ-28 mental health test, Rutter's behavioral abnormalities and Suskin and Morris communication styles. The obtained data were analyzed using the regression method. The findings of the research showed that the behavior style of teachers was able to predict 88% of aggressive behavior, 89% of violence, 90% of anxiety, 96% of antisocial behavior and 96% of non-compliant behavior in students participating in the current research. According to the results of the research, it is suggested that the role of teachers' communication styles in order to reduce the behavioral and psychological problems of students in educational environments should be given special attention.
